The Northern Channel Islands of San Miguel, Santa Rosa, and Santa Cruz offer dramatic views of towering cliffs transforming into jagged peaks where sheep and goats are the only denizens. But below the surf are some of Southern California's best kelp forests! The kelp shelters many crustaceans, shellfish, and scallops. Aboard The Peace our guides will ferry us to the best dens for lobstering. For years now, Dolphin Scuba Center has taken divers on recreational trips to the Northern Channel Islands and return as often as we can to experience one of California's underwater gems. The Channel Islands are easy to get to, great to dive, and a wonderful scuba experience for both new divers and our long-time dive buddies. The knowledgeable The Peace crew provides our divers with many scuba diving opportunities to discover California's favorite critters as well as a wide variety of underwater landscapes. The Channel Islands offer some of the most enviable underwater environments and views beneath the waves. There are untold opportunities for viewing and photographing a panorama of underwater vistas while other divers enjoy the thrill of searching for fearsome looking wolf eels and vibrant garibaldi fish. Unlike the coral reefs of tropical waters, the giant kelp forests of the Channel Islands add a third, vertical dimension - truly an underwater forest! Your mini vacation will be hassle free, filled with delicious food, solid diving, and wonderful friends.

For the first time ever, we're giving divers automatic double beds and limiting divers to 17 so we have space to spread out and relax! If you love the Channel Islands, you'll love the additional six dives you'll be able to do during our four days excursion.
