Discover Scuba Dive
The PADI Discover Scuba Diving Experience is definitely the way to find out why people love scuba diving on Bonaire so much. After a short classroom session, you’ll put your new scuba knowledge into practice in our confined water area. You’ll practice a few skills and when you’re ready, your instructor will accompany you to the reef for a shallow supervised dive. This wonderful experience costs $95 per person and will stay with you long after you are back on dry land. All equipment, theory and practical sessions, and your instructor’s expertise are included in this package.

What do I need to bring?
For safety reasons, you’ll need to fill in a Medical Statement to ensure that you are fit to dive. If you answer “yes” to any of the questions, you need to have a signed medical statement from a doctor prior to in-water training.
PADI Advanced Open Water Course
You are already have your scuba certification; now it’s time to continue your diving education and learn new skills. Improve your buoyancy, dive to 100ft/30m, learn how to navigate, explore a wreck, meet the creatures that come out at night, it’s all up to you with advanced scuba certification courses at Dive Friends Bonaire.
Expand your dive horizons! This certification will allow you to go to a maximum depth of 100ft/30M and teach you about how to navigate underwater for two of your adventure dives. For your other three Adventure dives, you can choose with your Instructor from the following: Peak Performance Buoyancy, *Night, Underwater Naturalist, Fish ID, Search & Recovery, Multi-level, Wreck, Boat, and Photography (Deep & Navigation Adventure Dives are required).
Minimum Age: 12 (Junior for ages 12-14)

PADI's Open Water Course is the most popular scuba certification in the world! You’ll participate in classroom, confined water, and open water sessions. Your scuba certification card will be recognized worldwide and allows you to dive as an independent buddy team to a maximum depth of 60ft/18M. (Max 40ft/12M for 10-11 year old divers).
Minimum Age: 10 (Junior Open Water Diver for ages 10-14)
Approximate Time: 3.5 days
