The reefs of Tubbataha, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, are high-voltage diving! The walls drop off into forever, and you will encounter turtles, sharks, mantas, big schools of fish, and whale sharks. For those divers who prefer vivid color, we will also be diving perfect coral gardens. Visibility is often more than 150 feet! Tubbataha Reefs Natural Park is home to some of the most beautiful coral reefs in the world. Rising from the volcanic depths of the Sulu Sea in the western Philippines, these magnificent atolls encompass an astonishing diversity of marine life. The park is an underwater sanctuary where nature has been protected and allowed to thrive. Tubbataha is the Philippines' only marine natural park and, as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is a location of global importance. From majestic whale sharks to elusive seahorses - Tubbataha supports an unparalleled variety of marine creatures. Colorful reef fish crowd corals growing in the shallows while sharks and manta rays haunt the steep drop offs to the open sea. Aboard the well appointed liveaboard, the Atlantis Azores, you and 15 other divers will dive in comfort. The Azores boasts 7 standard cabins and one master suite. Two tenders serve the main boat, ferrying the divers to and from the dive sites. Nitrox is available on board to prolong your time spent with the magnificent creatures of Tubbataha! The Azores also has full camera facilities for those photographers wishing to take advantage of the colorful scenes playing out beneath the waves.
