Don't let the price tag fool you, the Carbine series delivers more bang for your buck than anything in its class. Just like its bigger brother, Carbines are constructed of aerospace grade aluminum and feature high-strength stainless shafts and triggers. They're powered by one or two Hi-Mod bands and a low-profile, pistol grip handle that makes for easy target acquisition. So, if you want a speargun that will bring home plenty of fish without breaking the bank, the Carbine fits the bill.
The Mini comes equipped with the JBL724SB 24" (61 cm) Stainless 17-4 spring steel shaft with a 9/32" (7.11 mm) diameter, and is hand-tuned for alignment then heat-treated for maximum hardness to reduce flex and provide optimum energy transfer. Gun is equipped with a durable molded corrosion free ABS handle & muzzle, an overall length of 23" (58.4 cm) and has a 9' (2.74 meters) range. The JBLD-6 Mini Carbine has a shaft with 6mm threaded point and wing spear tip.

VERY GOOD
This is nice fishing gun. My cousin has made over 300 dollars from selling fishes he have caught with it. He wished it was longer though but its alright.
A great gun for the price. My only \"warning\" is that the shock cord is quite a bit shorter than described but is easily remedied by a longer length of Dacron or other cord. that being said, I would also not recommend this for shooting anything larger than 35lbs (15kg) or so, unless at extremely close range. A Great close range gun for the reef, and perfect for anything freshwater. preforms well and shoots great.
this speargun is a good little gun if you have small rock piles with fish under 30 inches in my opinion. shoots great but does not have a very long range. it is extremely easy to maneuver through the rocks and is very light and easy to cock. i am happy with the purchase but i wish i would have gone with the next size up from this because of the versatility of the larger guns. this is pretty one dimensional product and i use it on small reefs on snapper that range from 10-24 inches.
