The X-Stream is truly a leap into the future, and changes forever how we envision the creation of a fin. More than 2 years of resources, experiments, and testing and four Mares patents are all concentrated in one unique fin. The Optimized Pivoting Blade system (OPB) allows the blade to maintain an optimal angle throughout the kicking cycle. Whereas traditional fins achieve an optimal angle only during a small portion of the kick cycle, OPB produces a constant thrust, which minimizes fatigue and produces fluid movement through the water.
