      Great product

Posted by Paul H - via Amazon on Jul 13th 2015

I used this stuff a ton on a recent snorkeling trip and it works great. I've used other products but they were never as good as Sea Gold has been. Go for the good stuff and don't ruin your vacation!

      Best anti-fogger ever

Posted by Joanna D - via Amazon on Jul 13th 2015

I have had the Sea Gold Anti-Fog gel for 3 years now. Once applied, your mask does NOT fog up. The sprays do not work. This is the best.

      Works for firefigting

Posted by FireEMT-GAPS - via Amazon on Jul 13th 2015

Works like a boss on firefighting Scott mask. Used to be practically raining in my mask staging on a fire gave whole new meaning to can't see s$!#. This stuff either completely eliminates fog or reduces it 95% on a particularly humid day, I just wash and reapply after every use and works like a charm

A little bit fussy to apply, works great after that

Posted by Rob - via Amazon on Jul 13th 2015

It's not simple to apply- you squirt out the gel, get an even coating of it inside your lenses (at which point they'll look like you applied vaseline to them), then give them one super-quick rinse (just a dip and shake underwater) before putting them on. The lenses do have to be dry when you apply, which is a pain since you can't just reapply if the lenses don't look right after your first application. It took me a few tries to get the technique down, but once you do, you'll know- I've never had my lenses stay so clear. I could see the shimmer in the water between warm and cold patches in the ocean (when the water was clear, of course). I had quite a bit of leakage in my goggles as well, but they stayed fog free through two one-hour dives.

Only Defogger I will Ever Use

Posted by TriGuy - via Amazon on Jul 13th 2015

I have been diving for more than 20 years and always had trouble keeping my mask clear of fog. Then I discovered SeaGold gel. It is the best product on the market and the only one I have found that actually lives up to their claims. I would buy it at twice the price! I put a thin coat of gel on the inside of the mask about 15 minutes before the dive starts and let it soak on. Then i give the mask a very quick rinse immediately before jumping in or as soon as I hit the water (depending on conditions). No more fog!

Seems to work better than some other stuff I tried but did not ...

Posted by como651 - via Amazon on Jul 13th 2015

Seems to work better than some other stuff I tried but did not get rid of fog completely just made it seems finer. What worked better was spitting on my mask, rubbing it in but then not rinse it out. It was a bit blurry at first then the spit seemed to clear up and I had less fog then clarity after that. This stuff is like thick hair gel so you really have to rinse it and rinsing it seems to wash away some of the protection. I used this after cleaning my mask 3 times with tooth paste and using dish soap a couple of times so it was not like this was a brand new mask.

Helps with cold weather fog prevention but not perfect

Posted by Jim - via Amazon on Jul 13th 2015

I purchased this for sun glasses and some narrow height ski/snowboard goggles, both of which I bought to wear cross country skiing. I realize cold weather fogging is not the intended purpose of this product. This product all but eliminated fogging on the sun glasses which without a fog prevention coating become unusable within 10 minutes. The cheap ski/snowboard gogglesfogged immediately without a fog prevention coating (tried them at least twice and they fogged in the first couple of minutes in previous outings). With Sea Gold I was able to wear the goggles for 15-20 minutes before they formed enough moisture to make me give up. So using this product on some really poorly designed cheap goggles helped but did not solve the fogging problem with them. I may try yet another product but at least this worked well enough on the sun glasses.

Just as good as spit... ;)

This product worked well. However, you need to rinse out your goggles after applying..... You don't have to with spit.

      works well

Posted by Lynda - via Amazon on Jul 13th 2015

works well, but needs more instuctions. we learned on our own that you really have to rub it it until it is slightly bubbly.
