SSI Scuba Explorers - Monofin Program

A continuation of the SCUBA Explorer program: Dolphins and whales are some of nature’s best freedivers, because of their built-in monofin! Come experience the joy of the speed and comfort monofins offer and discover your inner dolphin!

What To Do Before Class:

Participants must have already completed the introductory, three day SSI Scuba Explorers Program.  All waivers must be signed and there must be a current parent or guardian-signed waiver on file.

If it has been close or at least one year since last completed, please update the Diver Medical / Participant Questionnaire at: https://dolphinscuba.com/content/pdf/downloadable-forms/RSTC_MEDICAL_FORM.pdf

In the classroom session students will learn how to identify at least three types of photo and video equipment, and how to operate basic underwater photo equipment.

The classroom session will then be followed by an in-pool dive session where students will  learn to identify different kinds of monofins and explain how they differ from other freediving fins, snorkel fins, and scuba diving fins.
