SSI Scuba Skills Update
This program is a great way to refresh your diving knowledge and skills, especially if it has been awhile since your last dive. We'll review the information you learned during your Open Water Diver program and work to supplement the in-water portion of the Scuba Skills Update program with skills that may have become a little rusty. Talk to your Scuba Skills Update instructor before your class begins and discuss your expectations for the Update program. They can adjust your in-water experience to focus on skills that you may have forgotten, or to review skills that may be useful for your next dive adventure.

What to Expect in Class
We have Sacramento’s only indoor heated pool (heated to approximately 92°F!) used for SCUBA and swim lessons! We will start the class reviewing the video and written information from SSI and answering any questions that you have or may arise. Students and instructor(s) will then go down to the pool area and begin our skills in the water. Class runs approximately 3-4 hours.
We recommend that you bring your own equipment: mask, snorkel, and fins but please feel free to bring your BCD and regulator if you like.
We are thrilled to welcome you into the captivating underwater realm and we thank you for trusting Dolphin Scuba Center as you dive into a new way to experience the world. Please give us a call any time with any questions - our staff is happy to help you feel as comfortable as possible before you make the plunge!
