Best cutting tool ever
Probably the best cutting tool I have dove with. Its a knife, it's a scissors, It's a screw driver. It's fantastic!

Love this knife/shears combo. I got this for kayak fishing so I have it on my PFD. Works very well for cutting bait and cutting fishing line.
This combination knife and scissor is versatile and functional. Excellent in water and on land. I would also recommend using this for camping.
It is constructed well enough. I have no issue with it. Weight in hand feels good. Blades seem sharp. It is spring loaded and has the right amount of spring stiffness. I have not used it on a dive yet so i cant comment on how well it does in an actual tangled situation.
I purchase this knife based on the recommendation of my dive instructor. It is as good as he said it would be. The blunt tip improves safety under water. The sizzors feature if very handy for dealing with line and rope underwater. The case and straps worked great.
After looking at a video where a dolphin had a fishing line tangled on itself and the diver used shears to cut it free, it was pretty obvious that a knife alone will not always do the trick. So after almost 40 years of diving, I wanted to have a knife/shears along with me. The quality looks good (haven't used it diving yet so can't speak for how it will stand up to rust etc), and the shears works great. Reviews indicate this should last me the rest of my diving career so I consider it a one time purchase. Now what do I do with the other 8 knives I have??
Absolutely the best diver's tool. Effortlessly cuts heavy line that would stop a regular dive knife or EMT shears. One-handed operation. Blunt tip and pliers handle insert are useful tools. Tank-banger is LOUD. This is my second FogCutter X. I just gave the first one to my dive guide in Raja Ampat so he could help keep the marine sanctuary clear of fishing line.
This is a great tool, nice spring in the scissors and I am grateful that there are so many clamps and brackets to make this work with my custom setup on my BC. The downside is I dove in some turbulent water and my knife lifted from the sheathe and I almost lost it. The master diver noticed and recovered it before I even realized that it lifted. So I am on the hunt for an extendable lanyard.
good tool, but came out from Sheath undetected on a second dive and got lost ;( Sheath lock fill very strong when it dry, but not underwater.
