Description

Atomic Aquatics revolutionized the dive industry with “UltraClear” lenses. Before UltraClear, all dive mask lenses were made from low-quality float glass with a visible green tint caused by iron particles remaining in the glass after processing. These green iron particles significantly block light transmission through the lens. All Atomic Aquatics masks utilize a higher quality optical glass that significantly improves underwater vision allowing up to 96% of light transmission-UltraClear glass. Our NEWEST UltraClear lens in the VENOM dive mask is made by the Schott Glass Company in Germany. The VENOM gives you the highest purity grade UltraClear glass available. That means you get incredible clarity and high light transmission that isn’t available in other masks-even those who claim to be ultra-clear.

The mask improves visibility significantly. With improved visibility, the mask seems less confining. Im very pleased with the design and fit.

Atomic Venom SCUBA Mask! Wicked Good Looks!! AweSome comfort and vision!!

Posted by Mark M. - via Amazon on Jun 24th 2015

Atomic Venom Ultra Clear glass is made by a German company called Shott. I've owned one in the ARC model now for about 3 years. Used it on a live aboard trip to the Galapagos and loved the ultra clear vision it provided for my photography. It also proves an extremely comfortable fit and wide view, plus, it just looks BaddAss!! When I returned from the Galapagos adventure, I discovered that the glue between the soft silicone skirt and the harder plastic frame was disentigrating, apparently because of a chemical reaction with the salt water. Sending it back to Atomic was not a problem, the suppport of their products was not an issue, and apparently, it carries a lifetime warranty for defects such as this. A new ARC Venom was sent back to me and I've used it with no issues now for 2 years. I ordered this one for my girlfriend who's geting her card because I love mine so much. Read all the reviews, the Atomic Venom is generally considered the best single lens Scuba Mask you can buy. Its expensive, but, in this case, you get what you pay for and a company that stands behind its products!

Crystal clear. Best to buy a neoprene headband to go with it.

    Great mask

Used it in Cozumel,,,,unbelievable clear. For most of time I forget having a mask between my eyes and crystal clear Caribbean water. Also, defog processing before jumping into the water is also very important.

    Great Father's Day gift!

Bought for my significant and took it with us on a trip. It was a big hit for both of us. He loved it the mask is very wide and clear and stays on your face so water doesn't get it. We also purchased the mouthpc for snorkeling and used it with it.

    Great mask, and seals perfectly.

Posted by Chris M. - via Amazon on Jun 24th 2015

It's a bit on the expensive side, but after the first time putting it on, I'm glad I spent the extra money. I've got a mustache, so I was a little worried about the seal. The edges are extremely soft, but not too soft, and the mask seals great. The visibility is excellent also. I think it disappointed my wife though. She was thinking this purchase might be the one that gets me to shave. Sorry sweetheart. The product is made too well.

    Don't waste your money!!!!!!!!

Posted by Scott R - via Amazon on Jun 24th 2015

What a waste for your money!!! Stick with a sealife mask for half the price. Two dives and leaked both times!! No difference in clarity from a $100 sealife or other similar polarized glass mask.

    Piece of Junk

    Posted by Ma'rifah B - via Amazon on Jun 24th 2015

I bought this highly recommended dive mask and within 8 dives it developed a fatal leak along the left side of the frame. Why spend $200 on something that doesn't last? Instead, buy yourself two masks for $90 each and save a couple bucks for a post-diver beer. This has been the most disappointing purchase I've ever made and I do not recommend that anyone buy this mask.
