Many of the world's best dive sites can only be reached with a boat - either a small personal vessel, a charter boat or on a liveaboard. This program covers the knowledge, skills and equipment necessary for the Boat Diving Specialty. Diving from a boat presents unique challenges for divers. To dive safely and comfortably from boats, you must be familiar with the common procedures for boat diving including equipment setup, dive planning, general boat safety, and entries and exits. This program provides you with the information to make boat dives comfortably and confidently. Our goal is to prepare you for your boat diving adventure and make sure you have a good experience.
