Description

DESCRIPTION

Stress is a major contributor to rescue situations and diving accidents. You can improve your diving confidence and enjoyment by learning to recognize, handle and prevent stress related situations.  Recognizing stress, and dealing with it at an early stage, is a critical component for preventing diving accidents. Diving emergencies are usually the result of a series of small, escalating errors – rather than one large mistake – that require training and practice to recognize and correct.  The goal of the SSI Diver Stress and Rescue program is to provide you with the in-depth knowledge, skills, and experience to quickly recognize and correct stressful and emergency situations in a variety of dive conditions and environments.
CPR & First Aid are a prerequisite.  Bundle with React Right First Aid/CPR/AED & O2 Provider  or  The Science of Diving to really understand the physics and physiology of diving and how your body responds to the impacts of the pressure associated with diving.
