It doesn't look like much at first glance, but this thing really has enough power to fill the empty space inside the suit with air, and get it dried really quickly. The wide shoulder parts of the plastic help to keep the air flowing, and it has enough force that if you squeeze the chest in, it'll pop back out from the air flow. Great product, would highly recommend.
Ok, so all of you out there reading this, buy it and see how great it works. I've even connected my booties to the legs of my wetsuit and have gotten the booties dry! The review that said it broke after a while, I say no. I've used this now for two winters and now I use it every day. After morning session, plug in the wetsuit with the hanger and my evening it is dry! Great product as there is nothing else like it anywhere. Buy it and enjoy being spoiled with a dry wetsuit every time!
Shoulder pad is wide but manageable with back-zip design. Drys suit in hours rather than days during cold months. (could use car adapter or battery pack for surf trips away from 120 outlet)
This thing dries my 8m semi-dry wetsuit amazingly fast! Without this it would take my suit days to dry due to the thickness. After using this my suit dries in just a day.
After a good evening rinse, my wetsuit used to take days to dry in my dark and humid basement. Now I hang it on Hangair, let the fan run overnight and it's dry on the next morning. Nicely done! I'm surprised I've never seen that product in surf/kitesurf/windsurf shops yet.
My last one failed after 5+ years of continuous use. The transformer stopped working. I bought a new one yesterday, preferred the easy to remove power cord and two-speed fan the older model had, but still great for what it's designed for. The only real criticism I have are the overly sharp edges on the ends of the hanger. Could easily do some damage to a wetsuit. I used a Dremel on the edges of the new one, just as I did with the old one to get a softer edge. Easy fix. This thing, together with my boot dryer make wetsuit care a breeze (pun intended).
I hate a damp, smelly wetsuit. This dries my wetsuit overnight if the weather is warm and dry, or in 24 hrs if it's cold or raining. Now they need to make one for booties. I've had it for about 2 yrs and still works well.
I've used this wetsuit dryer for a few years now and it's still working great. Even gets my thick winter suits mostly dry overnight when it's cold in the garage. A must have especially if you don't want to spend the money on two of the same suit.
I have a dry suit that I use for SCUBA diving and for paddle boarding in the winter and you know how they get really damp on the inside from your perspiration. I thought I was being a little extravagant buying this but I tried it and it actually dried out the inside of my suit in just a matter of 3o minutes. Now you might say just let it hang and dry out, but if you live in a humid climate, like I do here in the Atlanta area, you know things just don't dry out so well on their own. I use this all the time for both my dry suit and my wet suit.
