Performed above my expectations.I've always had to have multipe wet suit due to drying time. Now, in deep winter, I only need one suit.
I have been using mine on almost a daily basis for at least 5 years now and it works like a champ. If you surf in the evening, your suit is dry for your morning dawn patrol. No more, damp, stinky wetsuit! Works best if you rinse your suit with fresh water first.
I bought this in hopes of being able to go out for a sunset session and have a dry suit the next morning for dawn patrol. I like to be comfortable when going in the water, so I feel relaxed, and this means I need a dry suit to step into. The water was 54 last week up in Malibu. After surfing Heavens and making it back to the camp site, I hung up my 4/3 on this hanger and immediately plugged it into this battery and power inverter. http://www.amazon.com/Allstart-555-Battery-Starter-Inverter/dp/B008FKJH9C/ref=sr_1_13?ie=UTF8&qid=1397494123&sr=8-13&keywords=battery+jumper The instructions say it takes anywhere from 12-24 hours to completely dry. I hung it up at 8 PM and tried it on at 7 AM the next morning. The next morning my suit was completely dry. I then gave it another test at my place, where i was able to hang it up inside and away from ocean air. It actually dried in 6 hours. I'm very happy with this product and would recommend it to friends and family.
We purchased those to use with our dry suites. Yes you are not having any water after dive but there is always some moisture and we used this hangers to ensure our drysuites are dry after every dive. It takes good 15-20 hours to vent and dry ( in case you let some water inside during cleaning). Very sturdy and solid hangers. Will recommend those for any dry suite or wet suit users.
It works as advertised. The fan is plenty strong, you can feel the air blowing out the arms and legs.
I swim in my wetsuit off-shore in the SF Bay Area and in outdoor pools during the Winter. I installed a hook into my shower ceiling so I can hang my wetsuit on the HangAir drying system. Every night I place my wetsuit onto the hangar and within an hour it is dry. Love this product! Don't hesitate buy today.
Surfers are cheap, so I'm guessing most will not purchase this. However, for the few that are willing to spend a few bucks to quickly dry their wetties without having to hang them in the sun and have them dry out and crack quicker, this product is awesome. Certainly will extend the life of your wetsuit. In addition, you can dry the suit inside in your shower, so no need to leave it hanging on the back of a chair or railing with the sun blazing down on it and black widows (at least in socal) make it their home.
Great for hanging your dry suit and wet suit on, very sturdy build. Fan really quicken the drying process.
