The biodiversity in Solomon Islands is hard to beat and rivals any other Indo-Pacific dive travel destination for coral reefs and marine life but without the tourist numbers. You will find wrecks, caverns, drop offs, wide-angle reefs and large sea fans and have an opportunity to experience the traditional culture of the islanders.

The 10 nights Guadalcanal & Western Province liveaboard diving itinerary is a scuba diver's dream! With the abundance of marine life and biodiversity only found in the Solomon Islands, there are numerous unspoiled hard and soft corals plus a variety of dive sites ranging from WWII wrecks to caverns and stunning reefs.

Guadalcanal & Western Province 10 Nights Itinerary

The Guadalcanal & Western Province liveaboard diving itinerary will take you to the best dive sites of the Solomon Islands between Honiara and Munda. Allowing up to 30 dives, highlights of this 10 night itinerary include WWII relics at White Beach, Marovo Lagoon, and the iconic Leru Cut and Mirror Pond. As we travel through the Russell Islands and Blanche Channel, we stop at some of the smaller islands along the way and visit remote local villages where you can shop for produce for meals or check out the local carvings.

A typical day offers up to 4 dives; 3 day dives and a sunset or night dive where possible, or a land visit. The day is usually scheduled as follows:
  • Light Breakfast followed by a briefing & Dive 1
  • Full Breakfast, relaxation followed by briefing & Dive 2
  • Lunch, relaxation followed by briefing & Dive 3
  • Relaxation
  • Land Tour or Late Afternoon Dive*
  • Cocktails & Dinner
*Night Dive may be offered on selected days

The Solomons Master

The steel-hulled Solomons Master liveaboard offers a choice of Classic, Premium, and Superior double or twin cabins, providing comfortable accommodation for up to 16 guests. Each cabin benefits from individually controlled air-conditioning and private ensuite bathroom facilities with hot water.

Solomons Master’s main deck comprises a spacious, indoor dining room along with a camera station, complete with numerous charging points and storage space. After a fantastic day’s diving, unwind and relax on the upper deck’s indoor lounge and bar area which is fitted with a plasma screen for guests to watch movies or show off their photos. For those who prefer to relax with a breath of sea air, there is a shaded outdoor relaxation area and large sundeck with lounge chairs to sink into and soak up the atmosphere. Solomons Master is fully equipped to cater for recreational, technical, and rebreather divers. The large dive deck has individual set up stations, under-bench storage, a camera preparation table and a large dive platform at the rear, complete with deco-bar.
